The meeting was attended from BAPCO by Faisal Al Mahroos, Chief Executive, Gordon Smith, DCE Refining and Marketing, Mohammed Ghuloom, GM Engineering and Dawood Nassif, GM Strategy and Business Development. Chevron was represented by Ashok Krishna, VP Technology, Tayseer Abdelhalim, VP Global Technology Services, Tris Donvley, Senior Advisor Refining, Bill Stone, President and MD, Downstream, AMEA and Majeed Shefaiie, GM Chevron Bahrain. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Mahroos conveyed the greetings of HE Minister of Energy, Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority, and Chairman of Bapco’s Board, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, and his best wishes of success for the meeting.
Al-Mahroos said that the formation of the steering committee is a culmination of the TSA Agreement signed between both companies, saying the committee will draw the supreme policies of the technical cooperation between Bapco and Chevron and will endeavor to transfer Chevron’s global technical expertise to Bapco through close mutual relations which exist over 80 years.
