Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhroo received in his office today the visiting business delegation from Nitchia region, the People’s Republic of China, led by Deputy Director-General for Commercial Affairs Xank Axiu in the presence of Chinese Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain Yang Weiguo.
The Minister welcomed the visiting Chinese delegation and emphasized the significance of exchanging visits, investment and economic projects highlighting initiatives by businesspeople in both friendly countries and the vital role undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government in supporting the economic sector and investment projects at various levels with special focus on small- and medium-sized industries on which many global economies do rely.
The Minister reviewed potential investment opportunities provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government to investors from all over the world, highlighting easy procedures and advantages provided to investors and projects. The Minister cited the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 which ensures top priority to human and economic development. The Minister praised the commercial exhibitions sector which has become one of the most significant sources of revenue in view of its significant contribution into the country’s public budget.
The members of the Chinese delegation expressed their great appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government, praised the remarkable economic development and urbanization underway in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the role undertaken by the government in attracting investments to the Kingdom of Bahrain through easy procedures for industrial and commercial projects which encourages many giant international firms to opt for Bahrain as their center of operation in the Middle East.
The Chinese delegation visited the Bahrain Investors’ Center and listened to a detailed presentation from the Acting Chairman of the Bahrain Investors’ Center Khalid Rabe’a regarding services and facilities provided by the center to companies and investors in addition to procedures for establishing of companies and other services provided by the center to the private and public sector.
