His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander underlined the importance of the Bahraini expertise in organising and managing conferences and exhibitions of an international standards.
HRH also affirmed that human resources was Bahrain’s wealth and source of strength and that it was one of His Majesty the King’s fruits of reforms. HRH the Crown Prince was speaking during meeting with British Defence Ministry Undersecretary Lord Astor and accompanying delegation in the presence of the Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Airshow 2012 (BIAS).
HRH the Crown Prince welcome Lord Astor and reviewed with him developments in the Kingdom of Bahrain especially that related to HM the King’s initiative related to reinforcing democracy through the partnership in decision making through the National Dialogue.
HRH considered that BIAS in its second edition reflected the great development in the aviation field and that it was a great meet for all those interested in this field presenting with that great economic role of the Kingdom.
HRH also reviewed with the guest several topics of mutual interest affirming his support for all that assists in developing the historic Bahraini-British ties in various fields especially those related to military coordination and defense cooperation especially in light of regional developments and threats and dangers facing GCC member states. Both sides also discussed means of preserving security and stability in the region.
Lord Astor lauded the existing historic bilateral relations and his country’s support for the reform process in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He also hailed the high organising standards undertaken to host BIAS 2012.
