Bahrain’s biggest annual consumer products show, the Autumn Fair, opens on Wednesday 25 January at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. An official opening ceremony will take place in the morning under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Hassan A. Fakhro for invited dignitaries and guests. The exhibition will open to the public from 12 pm onwards.
“Over nine day period visitors will be able to purchase a wide variety of products from around the world including toys, textiles, cosmetics, interior décor accessories, electrical goods, food, novelties and much more whilst enjoying the exciting atmosphere and international flavour of this immensely successful exhibition,” said Arabian Exhibition Management’s project manager Mohammed Ebrahim.
Over 700 exhibitors from 23 countries are exhibiting at the Autumn Fair 2012, spanning a floor area of 14,300 square metres.
The popularity of the Autumn Fair has led it to become the best attended exhibition in Bahrain, as well as a large draw for visitors from Saudi Arabia. More than 200,000 visitors attended the last event in the series.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Autumn Fair will open daily to the public from 10 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm on 26, 28 and 31 January and 1 and 2 February. On 25 and 27 January the exhibition will open from 12 pm to 10 pm. Special ladies only mornings will take place on 29 and 30 January. Entry to the exhibition is 700 fils and children under 5 years old will be admitted free of charge.
