With six months of preparation, an intensive 10 day logistics programme and a three-day onsite operations; BAS has successfully achieved the landmark of ground handling services for the Bahrain International Airshow 2012 (BIAS) which also saw the touching down of the first A-380 in Bahrain.
During the Airshow one of the most exciting ground handling events was the arrival of the first A380 to Bahrain. BAS team managed smoothly the world’s largest passenger airliner and delivered impeccable service to VVIP passenger Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who arrived for the opening ceremony of BIAS.
BAS provided the on-site equipment and all ground handling services to facilitate the delivery of this first class event, including crew catering and technical support.
