Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company, a world class development, extended its support to the 3rd International Road Federation (IRF) Middle East Regional Congress and Exhibition.
The Congress and Exhibition, which is seen as the most comprehensive event in the Middle East in 2012, will promote the development and dissemination of relevant global innovative solutions and best practices that will be needed to meet Bahrain’s and the region’s infrastructure and safety needs.
The congress program consists of executive and technical sessions focusing on best practices, innovation and lessons-learned in areas of road safety, intelligent transport systems (ITS), asset management and pavements, public-private partnership (PPP) and financing, environmental and sustainability issues. The executive sessions feature global leaders from all sectors and of the highest calibre. The event also includes four of the prestigious IRF Certified Training courses and special workshops especially designed to meet the specific needs of the Gulf and larger Middle East.
The three day event which concluded on Wednesday was held under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, organized by Ministry of Works, in collaboration with Bahrain society of Engineers , hosted at the Gulf Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel.

We have also long recognised the importance of working towards the development of the community in which we live in, by being part of Bahrain’s most prestigious events such as the 3rd International Road Federation (IRF) Middle East Regional Congress and Exhibition,” Dr. Omar Al Mardi, Managing Director, BFH said.
