Information Affairs Authority (IAA) President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa affirmed that the authority placed considerable care towards training programmes being an important factor in the development media capabilities along with encouraging creativity.
This said Shaikh Fawaz was in harmony with IAA’s media strategy and Bahrain Vision 2030. He also emphasized that the authority continued its efforts towards attaining the best world companies and expertise with regard to Bahraini media cadres.
The IAA President was speaking during the honouring ceremony held at the golf club for the participants in the training programmes organized by the authority in-cooperation with media training establishment twofour54.
A total of 45 employees took part in the programme from various departments in the authority which lasted for six months.
The training included programmes for correspondents, cameramen, video technicians and productions and news readers.
Shaikh Fawaz extended his thanks and appreciation for all staff for the efforts exerted during the training programme. He also emphasized that the IAA continued to encourage human resources to further develop national cadres working in the media field.
Such training programmes he said helped in improving and developing talents. The director of media development at twofour54 David Hardaker lauded the great care that the media personnel and expertise on very high levels through the usage of the latest technologies.
Hardaker said that the establishment was proud of working with the IAA and was looking forward for more cooperation.
