Minister of Energy Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza held talks with a delegation of senior officials from the international oil company Chevron.
The Minister expressed his appreciation to the Chevron delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the great efforts of the company in the service of the gas sector. He also praised the cooperation between the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and Chevron, as well as the prestigious historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the company.
Dr. Mirza stressed the importance of cooperation and exchange of experiences between Chevron and Bahrain’s national oil companies under the administration of the nogaholding company for the benefit of the oil sector.
The Minister discussed with the delegates the historical relations and the role of Chevron in the production of oil and gas in the Kingdom and several other oil and gas sector issues.
The Chevron delegation members expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for the warm reception, praising the cooperation between the company and NOGA for serving the interests of the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive of Bapco Gordon Smith and the Executive Management of Bapco.
