Over the next one week Bahrain will be host of over 300 international media representatives and journalists who have been granted visas to cover the Bahrain International Airshow 2012, according to the Government Minister.
The 300 journalists are in addition to Bahrain-based battery of journalists representing both print and electronic media outlets in the Kingdom and abroad.
The President of Information Affairs Authority (IAA) Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa told the 24X7 News Bahrain that over 300 foreign media representatives have been issued visas so far.
“This is an excellent event and the interest of the large number of journalists coming from abroad speaks volumes of success of the event,” Shaikh Fawaz, in an interview said.
Bahrain’s Information Ministry now called IAA has set a perfect stage for the media personnel at Al-Sakhir Airbase to cover the fabulous airshow in Bahrain. The show has already received an overwhelming response from the exhibitors as the organisers sold 100% space for expo.
The airshow will be a right platform for the prospective buyers and aircraft manufacturers to seize business opportunities while the general public will be enticed with colourful events for three days starting Thursday morning.
