He stressed security and stability as a pre-requisite for development paying tribute to the security forces for their vigilance in ensuring people’s safety, describing them as the main pillar of growth.
HRH the Prime Minister was speaking as he patronized a graduation ceremony of the fourth batch of cadets from the Royal Academy of Police.
He was received on arrival by Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and senior officials.
“Maintaining security is a noble responsibility which the security forces proved to be up to. They are worth the honour of this national duty,” HRH the Prime Minister said pledging more support to the security bodies.
He hailed courage and sacrifice of the security officers to maintain national unity, security and stability.
“It’s a role worthy to be proud of and deserves to be backed through full social cooperation that places the national interest above anything else,” he asserted.
He congratulated the new graduates describing them as the cornerstone of the future who have to preserve security, protect the nation and citizens, safeguard freedoms and rights and maintain sovereignty of the law.
He also congratulated the graduates’ parents commending their role in bringing up their children on the Bahraini inherent customs and traditions.
He reiterated resolve to continue the path of progress urging unity and social cohesion to bring about more achievements under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He underscored the significance of effective and productive social partnership for the nation to further thrive and prosper.
“Maintaining security and stability is the demand of everyone without exception, and it is a joint responsibility which requires concerted efforts to bolster Bahrain’s development.”
“Police work has witnessed a quantum leap thanks to modern studies and training programmes organized by the Interior Ministry to ensure national security and stability,” HRH the Prime Minister asserted underlining the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to dealing wisely and flexibly with various challenges.
“Bahrain will always remain an oasis of peace and stability thanks to Bahrainis’ friendliness and tolerance,” he pledged calling on all to assume their national responsibility to overcome challenges.
“Social unity and cohesion is the only way to cross into the future while being ready to deal with all challenges waiting ahead,” he said.
After the graduates had taken the military oath, HRH the Premier honoured outstanding cadets and was greeted by senior officers from the Interior Ministry and the Bahrain Academy of Police educational staff.
