His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa paid a visit to his Yemeni counterpart Mohammed Salem Basindwa at his residence in Bahrain.
They reviewed historical fraternal ties binding both countries and ways of further cementing them in various fields.
HRH the Prime Minister underlined deep-rooted bilateral relations stressing the kingdom’s support to all efforts made to achieve national consensus in Yemen and maintain the country’s unity and stability.
The Yemeni Premier thanked HRH the Prime Minister for his keenness to bolster the Bahraini-Yemeni relations lauding the Kingdom’s distinguished efforts to ensure success of the GCC initiative. He also praised substantial growth in Bahrain thanks to the outstanding development policy of the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister.
HRH the Premier saw off, later, his Yemeni counterpart following his official visit to Bahrain during which he had held discussions on further solidifying bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in various fields.
The Yemeni Premier was also seen off by the Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers, officials, the Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Muharraq Governor and the Yemeni Ambassador to Bahrain.
