His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace on Sunday, in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdullah Bin Khalid Al Khalifa and the Shura and Representatives Councils’ Chairmen Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, a number of senior officials in Bahrain.
During the meeting, HRH premier called for the need adopt initiatives that enhance patriotism and promote the values of love and brotherhood among the members of the one-family Bahraini society.
“We do not want to have a generation of citizens whose hearts and minds are full of hatred and sectarian feelings in a country where love, tolerance and peaceful coexistence have always been its distinctive features,” HRH Premier, said.
HRH Premier also stressed the need to provide villages and towns with the needed government services, particularly health, education, housing and infrastructure, so as to spare them the burden of looking for them in remote areas, instructing officials to increase their field visits to those areas, hold meetings with the citizens and learn about worries.
HRH Prime Minister also praised the Bahraini citizens’ high productivity and competence in all fields and commended the qualitative leaps made by the kingdom’s media sector thanks to its highly-qualified national cadres, calling for the need to adhere to transparency and transparency in covering local, regional and international issues.
HRH Premier also reviewed with those present the latest global economic developments, expressing hope that the global financial situation will become more stable so as to allow countries to focus on development projects.
