The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Dr. Esam Abdullah Fakhro announced the reinstatement of dismissed staff sacked in the aftermath of the unfortunate events that occurred in the Kingdom of Bahrain last year, in compliance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and in response to the resolution of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa the Prime Minister and the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI), and in order to restore national stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the reinstated staff members are expected to resume their jobs by 1st March 2012, in the same positions they had once occupied before they were sacked, whilst rights are ensured for both the Chamber and its reinstated staff members.
Dr. Fakhro urged all staff to reintegrate into their workplace and exert further efforts in strengthening the role of the Chamber in serving the commercial sector and the country, and to focus on developing their capabilities and skills on the job.
BCCI Chairman advised all the private companies and institutions to reinstate all demobilized employees who were not involved in committing crimes or breaching their duties, under their previous contracts.
