GCC Foreign Ministers to meet today

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani announced that GCC Foreign Affairs Ministers will Sunday to hold a consultative meeting in Cairo, ahead of the meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers’ Council, which will be devoted to the Syrian developments.

Dr. Al Zayani also said the GCC ministers’ meeting will discuss the current situation in Syria and the continuing excessive use of force, adding that GCC countries call upon the International Community to assume its responsibilities in order to protect civilians, stop bloodshed and support Arab League’s resolutions regarding Syria.
