His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, who is also Chairman of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), praised financial and banking institutions who showed they are continuously committed to doing business and supporting the Kingdom’s economy under all circumstances.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince praised Standard Chartered Bank and its management who featured subjectivity and supported the Kingdom of Bahrain’s institution and carried on its business activities something that is highly appreciated from one of most ancient banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince welcomed in Riffa Palace Hassan Amin Jarrar on the occasion of assuming responsibilities as Standard Chartered Bank’s CEO in the presence of CBB’s Governor Rashid Mohammed Al-Maraj, citing the significant economic role of this bank and its contribution as a banking institution in supporting and boosting banking activities in Bahrain.
HRH expressed hope for finding a comprehensive national solution, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and surmounting the current situation, wishing the economic sector to benefit from the positive developments in supporting and contributing into the Kingdom’s economy.
Standard Chartered Bank’s CEO Hassan Amin Jarrar assured of the Bank’s commitment and support, citing the bank’s accomplishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout the past decades and its aspiration to carry on building, asserting the Bank’s commitment to its continuously stable policy.
The meeting was also attended by EDB’s CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince court’s Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa.
