ICICI Prudential scooped two Group awards at the Gulf Lipper Fund Awards 2012, which was held at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel in Dubai.
India-based ICICI Prudential was honoured with the Best Fund Group Overall and the Best Bond Fund Group in the Gulf region in recognition of its strong risk-adjusted performance and returns. Other award winners on the night included Russell Investments, a leading US fund manager, India-based HDFC and Saudi Arabia’s National Commercial Bank.
In addition to the group awards, trophies were also presented to 31 individual fund award winners. 20 of these winners were funds with no faith based investment restrictions, while 11 winners were managing their funds based on Islamic investment guidelines. The Gulf Lipper Fund Awards are part of the Thomson Reuters Awards for Excellence, a global group of prestigious awards that highlight exceptional performance by regional investment firms.
