Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) welcomed a group of students from the University of Bahrain participating in inJAz Bahrain’s ‘Company’ programme, an initiative that enables students to acquire well-informed understanding of the work environment and instil entrepreneurial skills in them.
The students were placed in various departments throughout the Bank during a two-week internship programme. The students were given the opportunity to learn about each department’s responsibilities, gain insights into their day-to-day operations and learn how to deal with daily challenges.
“This is a unique experience for the students as they can connect what they have learned in the “Company” programme and see it being applied first-hand. This process can assist their decision on what career path they want to pursue in the future,” Commenting on KFH-Bahrain’s participation in inJAz Bahrain’s internship programme, Sattam Algosaibi, Executive Manager at KFH-B, said.
“KFH-B has a history of supporting education. We run several annual programmes that introduce and prepare students for their practical life, such as the Sophia Antipolis Mentorship Programme and the “Job Shadow” Programme offered annually to inJAz Bahrain students as well as a Summer Internship Programme. At KFH-B we are firmly committed to the development of the Bahraini youth”, he added.
InJAz Bahrain was established in 2005 as a non-profit youth development and training organization.
