The visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Muharraq on February 6th to patronize the opening ceremony of the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH), as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 44th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), is much awaited by the Muharraq people, Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi said.
The governor affirmed that HM King Hamad’s visits to Muharraq have been opportunities for the local inhabitants to express their loyalty and love towards the wise leadership, led by HM the King.
He also pointed out that students will welcome HM King Hamad’s convoy and Muharraq folk bands will perform traditional music during the opening ceremony, stressing that the event is of major importance is it will send a message to the whole world that the kingdom is secure and stable and that HM the King’s Reform Project is on the right track.
He also took pride in the landmark achievements of the BDF, crediting it for safeguarding the kingdom’s security, fundamentals and achievements ttained during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era.
He also extended sincere congratulations to the wise leadership, led by HM King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, marking the BDF 44th Anniversary.
He also lauded the BDF’s management of the KHUH and ability to equip it and prepare it in a record time, commending the efforts exerted by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the State Minister for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and the Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa in this regard.
