Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) hosted the first Prince Naif Chair for Youth Development Workshop in its campus. Vice Rector for Business Affairs and Development, Dr. Adel Al-Saleh welcomed participants from KSA universities and secondary schools.
Focused on awareness about new methods and techniques applied to enhance skills in youths, this workshop had orientation program to guide them to choose the area of studies by keeping career leanings in view. Appropriate subject selection is necessary to excel in secondary, university and post university level education.
This workshop evaluated many such factors for the youths to pursue careers. Professional and fresh graduates have varied needs. All segments require specific training on certain levels.
Prince Nayef Chair for Youth Development in PMU considers new ideas relevant to translate into practicality. Initiatives focusing on their development are encouraged. Youths have excellent opportunity to explore various avenues of professional development in this university.
This workshop focused on the demands of youths in the present and future context especially through finding suitable avenues to tackle unemployment related issues.
It addressed the young generation to concentrate on professionalism. Their health particularly behavioural health issues and finding effective solution of problems remained important subjects for discussion.
This workshop inspired the youth community to value training and the role of information technology for an effective change. Youths were encouraged to become sensible citizens through active participation in the community development activities.
