The minister said, in the parliament session this morning, that there is a unifying determination among the Bahraini people to move forward.
He added that we need to continue moving forward, and those constitutional institutions, including the legislative power, need to promote this tendency.
Replying to a question, about procedures concerning societies violating the law, he what is important is the national interest. He said the situation in Bahrain has to be brought back to what it was and ensure the law is respected by all.
He added cases dealt with now are handled carefully and legally and the law will be applied.
He stressed that the state’s institutions are capable of fulfilling their duties and enforcing the law.
He added reality has proved capability to restore security and enforce the law in Bahrain.
He also said that there are many who go past courtesy and good manners to use religious rostrums to incite hatred, violence and sectarianism.
He stressed this is an upsetting violation and the BICI recommended that appropriate measures be taken. He stated the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs is working on organizing training programmes for religious figures to promote coexistence and tolerance.
