Bahrain Polytechnic thanked Zain Bahrain for being the official telecommunications sponsor for the 1st Bahrain Waste Management Forum and Exhibition 2011 (WMF2011)
Zain Bahrain’s Corporate Communications Manager, Samya Hussain and the Corporate Communications team at Zain Bahrain welcomed Corporate and Commercial Development Manager at Bahrain Polytechnic, Abdulrahim Fakhro at Zain Bahrain’s headquarters in Seef Area. Abdulrahim presented the company with an appreciation certificate for its participation and being the official telecommunications sponsor for the 1st Bahrain Waste Management Forum and Exhibition 2011: “Towards Zero Waste. During the visit Fakhro praised Zain Bahrain’s continuous efforts towards ensuring a clean and green Bahrain for all.
“We are delighted that we could support the awareness raising for a green cause and are particularly pleased that the forum also paved the way for the Bahrain Polytechnic University to join Zain Bahrain’s National Mobile Phone & e-Waste Recycling Campaign with the placing of Mobile Recycle Bin in the Bahrain Polytechnic campus,” Corporate Communications Manager Samya Hussein, said.
“This association gives Zain Bahrain a channel to take the message of collecting and disposing e-waste responsibly to students and the younger generation who are the foremost users of everything “e” from mobile phones to laptops. Through the Mobile Recycle Bin, the Polytechnic students and faculty and visitors can easily discard old, unusable mobile handsets safely and responsibly,” she added.
