Bahrain Customs revenues reached BD103.3 million in 2011. Customs Affairs President Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa released the annual figures, describing the dividends as citing that remarkable despite last year’s February-March unrest.
The Customs Affairs President highlighted the development projects currently underway thanks to the directives and the support of the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The Customs Affairs cooperated with company operating the Khalifa bin Salman Seaport to upgrade its capacity to accommodate 400 containers up from a daily output of 250.
