Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B), announced its sponsorship of the first-ever ITF Future Tennis Tournament, being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain between March 26 to April 7, at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) courts in Juffair.
The two week tournament is held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee and has catered to up to 200 participants from 48 countries, including Bahrain, who are within the top 400 ITF rankings.
“KFH-Bahrain is pleased to be supporting this international sporting Tournament. During the past few years in particular, Bahrain has branded itself as a regional destination for sports, cultural and economical events. We are committed towards such initiatives that support the development of the Kingdom and wish all the players the best of luck,” Sattam Algosaibi, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, said.
“At KFH-Bahrain, we strongly support the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision and the goals and milestones it strives for. Athletics are a medium for positive change. Tennis players demonstrate ideal values such as passion, excellence and respect, reflecting the values that are required from us all to meet the challenge of achieving Bahrain’s goals in 2030” he added.
The event, organised in co-operation with the Bahrain Tennis Federation and sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), gave seven Bahraini players a great opportunity to play and demonstrate their skills on their home ground.
