Manama Human Rights Centre was alunched at the Marina Club in the presence of its members, founders and a group of youth interested in human rights issues.
The centre’s president Bassam Al Abdullah affirmed during his welcoming speech that the centre had begun its first steps towards serving its noble causes spearheaded from its responsibilities towards human rights and the confusion related to awareness with this regards.
Al Abdullah said that the main objective of the centre to understand, learn, train and ask question related to human rights.
He also indicated that a road map for the centre had been placed to guide all members on the behaivour, laws and regulations that must be practiced in undertaking all the centre’s activities.
Al Abdullah said that the centre would begin its work after its first meeting by monitoring any case while another group would manage human rights projects.
