Thomas C. Krajeski, the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain visited BAPCO and upon arrival, he was received by the Chief Executive, Gordon Smith and a number of Bapco’s senior management members.
Smith thanked the US Ambassador for visiting Bapco and conveyed to him greetings and best wishes of Minister of Energy, Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority and Chairman of Bapco’s Board, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza. The US delegation made a tour at the Refinery, accompanied by BAPCO’s General Manager Engineering, Mohamed Ghuloom. Commenting on this occasion, Gordon Smith expressed pride in the visit, hailing the close technical cooperation between BAPCO and US leading industrial corporations. Smith praised US technical expertise in oil industry and said BAPCO has gained a lot from US advanced technologies.
Krajeski thanked BAPCO’s management for the hospitality and good arrangement of the visit, wishing the company continued success. Smith presented the US Ambassador with a commemorative gift to mark the occasion. The US Ambassador was accompanied by the Embassy’s International Affairs Officer, Miss Kelly Diiro.
