The innovative Zain On the Move radio show which connected members of the public who were travelling in Bahrain’s public buses was selected for Special Mention in the prestigious Mena Cristal Festival, the premier Advertising Festival for all Arab countries which aims to promote the best creative work in the region.
The 2011 campaign combined the essence of communication with the Zain corporate values of Radiance, Heart and Belonging and the result was a first-ever radio show in which passengers travelling on public buses in Bahrain were picked at random and given the opportunity to speak to their families and friends abroad over the Zain network. The buses were branded with Zain logos and had promoters selling Zain services and recharge cards on them. The campaign was a great success and won loyalty and affection from the customers.
