His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT) honored the thirteen winners of Bahrain eGovernment Excellence Award 2012.
The list of winners form the Government Sector includes: Best eContent Award, Ministry of Education; Best eService Award, Ministry of Works; Best eEducation, University of Bahrain; Best eProject, the Central Informatics and Communication Organization; eEconomy Award, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority; and eMaturity Award, Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB).
Winners in the Multi Sector are: eEconomy Award, Bahrain Petroleum Company BSC Closed (BAPCO); Best ICT Solution Provider, Almoayyed Computers; Best eNGO Award, Bahrain Internet Society (BIS).
As for Citizens Awards, Best eConcept Award went to Dr. Khalid Ahmed Almutawah in recoginition of ePill system and Adel Yusuf Al Qallaf in recognition of eKids website. The eCitizen Awards won by Ali Ahmed Ali Al-Ammadi for performing the highest number of transactions through the eGovernment portal and Abdulla Ahmed Isa Bin-hindi for performing the highest volume of transactions through the eGovernment portal over the year.
