Bizladies Bahrain Chapter met for their monthly event at Unisono Headquarters where Founding Partner and CEO Amy Morgan made a presentation on the topic of ‘Bravery in Business’. Over 30 senior business ladies attended the event, which is the second to be hosted by Unisono.
The presentation covered topics including bravery in business, bravery in your day-to-day life, and some case studies of legendary figures whose bravery was a foundation stone of their success including Anita Roddick, Donald Trump, Rosa Parks, and more.
“Bravery pays off whether we are speaking to clients, or to the general public. It pays off to be brave. And bravery is not always going against the grain, but rather, being a ‘rebel with a cause’. Being true to what you stand for is at the heart of happiness and success,” Amy Morgan said.
Bizladies is a network and business platform for female business managers, owners and entrepreneurs. Bizladies Bahrain has now branched out to the GCC region and is hosting a number of workshops aimed at women in business whilst also collaborating with Social Media Club, Bahrain and BBBF as well as other entities.
“Bizlaides organises nine networking events per annum in Bahrain alone for senior business women, where they are able to meet with peers, establish relationships, present current issues and discuss pertinent topics. Membership categories include individual, reciprocal, corporate, sponsor and partner to ensure local and ex-patriot women alike as well as entrepreneurs, corporates and SMEs can gain mutual benefits,” Bizladies President, Dr. Clare Beckett-McInroy, said.
Unisono is a partner of the Bizladies association. The first event covered the topic of Conceptual Advertising and the difference between the perceptions of conceptual advertising between men and women and was also well received.
