Under-secretary for Resources and Services at the Education Ministry Hesham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has opened the Professions Week, 2012, organized by the Bahrain Training Institute (BTI), with the participation of 23 companies, institutions and agencies specialised in commerce, industry, retail trade, construction, hospitality and information technology.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Assistant Under-secretary for Human Resources at the Education Ministry, Hassan Sulaibikh, BTI Director-General Dr. Ibrahim Matar and other BTI officials.
During the event, participating companies offered many training sessions for the BTI graduates for the sake of supporting the national work force and increase their employability at the labour market.
They also offered about 400 job opportunities for BTI graduates with salaries ranging from BD350 to BD600.
The professions Week attracted a big number of school students who were informed on BTI’s output and the quality training sessions provided for its affiliates.
At the end of the event, BTI honoured the participating companies and establishments for their efforts to upgrade BTI and trust in the quality of its output.
