Those attending the 2012 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday enjoyed plenty of fun and excitement off of the race track in the F1 Village vending area.
Loads of activities were on hand, and several of Formula One’s star drivers even met with the public in autograph signing sessions. They included Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, Sauber’s Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi, Williams tandem Bruno Senna and Pastor Maldonado, Caterham’s Vitaly Petrov and Heikki Kovalainen and Force India’s Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg.
They all took place in the F1 Village vending area, which this year stretches from the BIC Welcome Centre all the way to the VIVA Karting Track, making for the biggest ever in the history of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
It will be filled with all kinds of world-class attractions, including kids’ entertainment tents, roaming acts, Main Stage performers and an extreme ride known as the Sky Coaster.
