His Excellency Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa visited on Tuesday the Special Security Forces Command in Safrah.
He conveyed to officers and other ranks the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalida, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.
They expressed their appreciation of efforts of policemen in the protection of security and stability of the nation.
He was received by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Chief of Public Security and Special Security Forces Commander.
The forces participated in a parade that highlighted their security skills and high level of training and proficiency as well as the readiness of security forces to perform their duties.
HE The Minister delivered a speech, in which he expressed the gratitude of the wise leadership of the high performance of security forces and their distinguished national work, self-restraint and esteem.
He said that the way HM the King has dealt with the situation has succeeded in avoiding more losses to the country.
This considered as a leadership school and was a transparent and civilized hence it was understood by the world. The distinguished discipline of policemen has foiled all plans to take Bahrain back to the point of origin.
He continued that discipline, dedication and responsibility take all to the targeted stability, as the crisis made all stronger as the benefits cover the country and individuals.
HE the Minister said that sacrifices of policemen will be rewarded by God.
This sacrifice is only made by a hero. “The duty has to be performed and work continues and those who are after our self-esteem will see us in the field.
He warned of the threats of dealing with wrong information in social networks.
“The efforts of all security forces have been appreciated by all, as regular forces that perform duties to serve the nation and its security, as security is a joint duty of all for Bahrain,” he said, adding that the duty that security believe in carrying out has no ending, as security is required all the time. It is an honour.
He hailed the sacrifices of policemen and their efforts while working with efficiency in performing duties and directives of the leadership of law-obedience and respect of human rights and freedoms.
He wished them the best in serving the beloved nation under the wise leadership of HM the King.
