Chairan of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received President of the Central Working Committee of Jamiat Ahle-Hadith and Member of the Senate of Pakistan Professor Sajid Mir and the accompanying delegation.
Shaikh Nasser was introduced to the Committee, its goals and its up-to-date achievements, and the role it plays towards serving Islam and Muslims in general and in Pakistan specifically.
Shaikh Nasser said that the teachings of Islam have always encouraged tolerance and being moderate, as well as helping the other and accepting other ideas and religions.
He confirmed that extremist speeches do not do our Muslim communities any good, but on the other hand, eases the way for malfeasants to get into our communities and spread hatred and separate members of the Muslim family.
Shaikh Nasser underlined that HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives are focused on the implementation of the teachings of Islam, along with justice and equality. He added that all Bahraini citizens and residents are equal in rights and duties, and that made Bahrain a role model in coexistence and respect. He said that Bahrain is willing to support all charity organizations that teach Islam and care to help out the poor.
Mir thanked HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his support for world Islamic charity organizations. He said that Bahrain was one of the Muslim countries that are keen to promote Islam’s principles of tolerance, justice, and helping the others, and thus gaining great respect.
