NBB honoured 14 of its staff members with special awards in recognition for their long and continuous service. These members have been with the Bank for at least 10 years, while some have been serving the Bank for over 35 years.
Long service award recipients received merit certificates and awards from the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Director, Abdul Razak Abdulla Hassan Al Qassim, at a ceremony held in the Bank’s Head Quarter.
Al Qassim lauded NBB’s performance for the year 2011 and thanked the staff on behalf of the Board of Directors for their role in achieving this success. Al Qassim said that he was proud of their achievements and thanked the long service awardees for their diligence, dedication and performance during their years of service.
He said that the Bank’s future strategy would depend primarily on enhancing the focus on customers and their needs. He emphasized the importance of customer care in this highly competitive banking business and urged the staff to make it their top priority at all times. Al Qassim expressed his appreciation to the staff for all their efforts and their contribution to the progress of the Bank.
