Eleven suspects, in the case of vandalizing a 24-hrs market in Riffa, were arrested, revealed by the Chief of Public Security Major General Tariq Al Hassan.
Major General Al Hassan said that on Tuesday police forces were able to arrest a number of suspects in the case of damaging two cars and vandalizing 24-hrs markets in an effort to arrest the rest of the suspects so that legal action would be taken against them.
He said that legal procedures were being processed against those arrested so that they would be referred to the public prosecution as 17 related cases were also referred.
The Chief of Public Security highlighted the fact that the Southern governorate police station received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Board Chairman of Jawad Group Faisal Hassan Jawad on the efforts exerted by the police to bring those involved in the crime to justice.
Major General Al Hassan said that the law was the determinant in interacting with all towards preserving security and the protection of citizens and residents in all areas of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
