His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince of Bahrain, who visited the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) on Friday accompanied by Bernie Ecclestone Formula One Chief Executive, said that F1 Grand Prix 2012 is a ‘Force for Good’.
HRH Prince Salman visited the BIC on Friday afternoon and met with the FIA officials and some of the drivers and teams taking part in this year’s F1 in Bahrain said that he was very proud with the outcome and response from the visitors and F1 lovers.
“This race is a good and it is good for the people who wants see the progressive Bahrain as it empowers the people,” HRH explained.
He rejected the idea of those who wants to take this race away from Bahrain and said that whoever tried to take this global event away, whatever the reason, means trying to take away 1000s of jobs away from Bahrainis. “I would say those are traitors and extremists,” he added.
“I am thankful to the organisers as the 2012 Grand Prix will be the best or the second best since the start of the race in Bahrain in 2004.
