Tenmou, Bahrain’s first business angel company is hosting the first MENA Angel Investors Conference at The Ritz- Carlton Hotel on 19th April 2012. The conference will focus on an exchange of experiences in seed and early stage investments between the MENA region and the rest of the world. The conference will comprise a number of presentations including a review of international case studies.
The conference will be one of a kind in the region and open to the interested relevant public. It will enable angel investors and venture capitalists from Bahrain and around the MENA region including Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to be involved in panel-based discussions. Additionally, companies from around the region will be pitching for funding.
Supported by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Tenmou provides mentorship and capital investment to the next generation of high-potential, innovative Bahraini entrepreneurs from the seed stage through a number of local established businessmen and successful entrepreneurs. So far, Tenmou has assisted four innovative start-up businesses to make their ideas a reality.
“We are delighted to be taking the lead in hosting the first MENA Angel Investors Conference here in Bahrain, and it’s in no small measure thanks to the strategic partners EDB Tamkeen for their sponsorship of this worthwhile initiative. It is a privilege to educate the region on the potential of entrepreneurship and to give the next generation opportunities for success. We are proud to be a part of this latest initiative and to align ourselves with one of the goals of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, namely to increase the diversity of careers throughout the nation,” CEO, Hasan Haider, said.
The ambition is that the conference will be a rewarding experience for all and act as a catalyst for further business learning and initiatives.
