Zain Bahrain is taking its interactive ‘Go Green’ initiative one step further and offering e-invoice services where the invoices will be sent as an e-mail.
“This system aims at taking our e-waste management efforts to the next level since it saves on paper – if you multiply our monthly invoice output by 12 months, that’s a lot of paper saved,” Samya Hussain, Zain Bahrain’s Corporate Communications Manager, said.
“Apart from that, it would ensure timely invoice delivery to our customers which is an added advantage for us as at Zain since we believe in quality customer service.”
“The urgent need for judicious use of environmental resources is being felt world wide as many environmental projects continue to be undertaken. Zain’s e-invoice project promises to contribute towards saving scarce energy resources. It is part of a wider set of green initiatives such as Zain’s electronic billing service which helps save energy and customer time and the paper top-up vouchers which cut back on plastic cards. The Zain National Mobile Phone and e-Waste Recycling Campaign which encourages the public to dispose mobile handsets and batteries in a responsible manner is the company’s biggest contribution to the environmental cause.”
