HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Tuesday highlighted the strong existing bonds between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and said both nations are one and can’t be separated.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Safriya Palace Prince Al-Walid bin Talal on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain.
HM the King took pride in the historical brotherly ties binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to further solidify them.
“Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are one and in separable country,” HM King categorically stated.
In tribute to his substantial economic role as well as his social and philanthropic activities and contributions to boosting the role of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the economic, media and cultural fields regionally and internationally, HM King Hamad bestowed on Prince Al-Walid bin Talal Bahrain First-Class Medal.
Prince Al-Walid bin Talal expressed thanks and respect to HM the King for the honour, hailing solid relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and pledging to dedicate all possible resources to serve Bahrain and its people.
He also wished HM the King continuous good health and happiness and more progress and prosperity to Bahrain.
