The deep-rooted fraternal ties between the United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain will be a major highlight during the first America Week to be held in Bahrain, according to the US envoy.
The US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Thomas Krajeski announced plans and launched the website for the first-ever “America Week” in Bahrain at the American Corner at Bahrain Polytechnic. Shaikh Hisham Bin Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Polytechnic Board of Trustees, Acting CEO Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, and American Chamber of Commerce President Hamed Al Zayani participated in announcing the event.
“The idea of “America Week” is to celebrate the longstanding friendship between the United States and Kingdom of Bahrain, and to highlight our strong cultural and economic ties. We also view “America Week” as an opportunity to explore new possibilities for collaboration in business, trade, the arts and other areas.” Ambassador Krajeski also thanked two Polytechnic students, Graphic Designer Ahmed Rafiey and Web Designer Sarah Kanian for their work in designing the official “America Week” website,” Ambassador Krajeski added.
