Deputy of HM the King and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Both leaders emphasised the importance of expediting the launch of the Gulf union to confront political, economic and security challenges facing the region and meet the aspirations of the GCC people.
They lauded developmental achievements underlining the need to maintain the development process so as to maximize national accomplishments.
Their Royal Highnesses underscored the importance of security and stability in protecting these gains and preserving the democratic march which, they said, are unfortunately being targeted and deliberately marred by unjust media outlets.
They lauded, in this context the remarkable and praise-worthy role of the security officers in protecting national achievements.
They pointed out the common responsibilities and duties that should be shouldered by all Bahrainis voicing confidence in citizens’ awareness and their ability to protect the tightly-knit social texture and protect it from extremism and sectarianism.
They also expressed regret over the attempts of some to serve a foreign agenda by doing harm to their homeland, tarnishing its image and jeopardising its achievements.
Then, HRH the Deputy King briefed HRH the Prime Minister on the outcome of his visit to South Korea and the USA.
HRH the Premier stressed the importance of HM the King’s visit to Japan and HRH the Deputy King’s visits to South Korea and the USA in adding new political and economic dimensions to Bahrain’s relations with these countries
Both leaders stressed the government’s incessant support to the youth and its keen interest to stimulate and engage them in national work as well as hone their potentials to serve their country’s development goals.
HRH the Prime Minister invited HRH the Deputy King to attend the wedding of his grandson Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
HRH the Deputy King expressed his good wishes on the occasion.
