signed with board Chairman of Promoseven Akram Miknas, in cooperation with Group Plus, an agreement granting broadcasting rights of commercial ads on Bahrain radio stations and television channels.
The BD4million deal is reflective of IAA’s keenness to carry out initiatives aimed at increasing the authority’s financial revenues in line with the government’s aspirations and the media strategy inaugurated by IAA for the period spanning from 2011 to 2016.
Shaikh Fawaz described IAA’s public tender as the first of its kind in the history of the authority. He said the authority is continuously working on upgrading the radio and television performance so as to project the kingdom’s civilisational image and contribute to providing purposeful programmes.
“IAA is keen to contribute substantially through this agreement to boosting the creativity and excellence spirit in the television and radio advertising field,” he affirmed, lauding the experience and competence of Promoseven as well as its outstanding role in Bahrain and the whole region.
Akram Miknas hailed IAA’s efforts to upgrade the media sector in Bahrain, pointing out the key role that will be played by Promoseven in this regard.
It is worthy to note that Promoseven and Group Plus are two of the major companies in the region which are specialized in publicity and advertising and which have branches in Kuwait, Dubai, Riyadh, Beirut, Cairo and Bahrain.
