In line with Standard Chartered Bank’s commitment to cultivate local talent in Bahrain, the Bank launched the Al Massar Development Programme, the bank in a statement said.
Al Massar, a leadership development initiative contributing to an ongoing local talents training programme for more than 200 employees. The inaugural training was held at the Regency Intercontinental hotel.
The training course, which is made up of four independent workshops, is designed to equip participants with necessary tools, skills, and knowledge to help participants to either perform their roles better or to assist in their career progression.

Al Massar programme is one of the ways, which will help Standard Chartered to build and sustain a strong pipeline of Bahraini talent with the right skills and experience to lead the Bank over the next decade,” Hassan Jarrar, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain, said.

Each Al Massar session provides participants with the opportunity to meet and interact with some senior local officials and other senior executives in the Bank, who are there to answer questions and share stories of their own experiences.
