The Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir met with a delegation of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives chaired by the Second Deputy Chairman, Adel Al Ma’awda, where he expressed the support of the Sudanese government and its people of all the procedures taken to achieve stability and security in Bahrain.
The Sudanese President praised the wise steps taken by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa on the road of reform, and the political stability and wisdom which cared for the homeland interests, recalling the courageous Bahraini stances in supporting Sudan.
Al Bashir expressed his happiness with the visit of the Bahraini delegation for more development of the relations between Bahrain and Sudan, including encouraging investments in both countries, particularly concerning the area of food security, pointing out Sudan’s great capabilities in this regard.
Al Ma’awda conveyed the wise leadership’s and the Chairman of the Council of Representatives’ greetings for the Sudanese President and for the Sudanese people with more stability and prosperity.
Al Ma’awda presented a brief about the efforts done by the Bahraini Government for the welfare of the Bahraini Citizen, and extending cooperation ties with all Arab Countries aiming at the stability of the region.
Al Ma’awda also commended the efforts done by the Sudanese Government in addressing conditions for the stability of Sudan particularly after its separation from the South. He also stressed that the Arab Countries and Bahrain in particular will always support Sudan in defending its rights.
Al Ma’awda highlighted that the visit comes within the framework of strengthening the relations between the two countries, especially the parliamentary area, to increase the level of coordination in the field of legislation and enhance the development of these relations, and promote economic cooperation in all areas between both countries.
Al Ma’awda also highlighted the importance of Sudan’s leading position among Arab Countries, calling for paying more attention towards Sudan’s welfare and its strategic dimension for all Arab Countries.
