His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his court the Muharraq Club’s football and Volleyball teams, marking their winning of the Gulf Football and Volleyball Championships, respectively.
HRH Premier asserted that the Bahraini Club, known for its honourable regional and Arab achievements, has represented the Kingdom exceptionally well during the Gulf Championship, congratulating the players and members of the technical and administrative staff for their historical victory and wishing them further success.
He also indicated that Muharraq Club represents a “thumbnail image” of the “co-existent”, one-family Bahraini society whose members can, with unity, collaborative work, determination and united goals optimize national achievements.
HRH Prime Minister also said that youths are the real durable asset of the kingdom, pledging that the government will continue supporting sports clubs, which embrace youngsters and nurture their talents in order to be able to earn the country more landmark achievements.
Then, the Muharaq Club’s Board Chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa took pride in HRH Premier’s directives and incessant support for the youth and sports sector.
He also said HRH Premier is an example of patriotism, wise leadership, dedication and hard-work, asserting that the club’s achievements are the fruit of HRH Premier’s support and innumerable kind gestures.
Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi delivered a statement in which he affirmed that the meeting has filled the hearts of the Muharraq citizens with joy, vowing that Muharraq will always remain an example of patriotism and full-fledged support for the wise leadership.
