Within the framework of the Information Affairs Authority (IAA)’s keen desire to develop Radio and TV broadcasting and in line with the development and modernization it is currently witnessing, IAA President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohamed Al Khalifa signed with the Board Chairman of Noor-Sat Omar Shoter an agreement to broadcast Bahrain TV Bouquet on Noor-Sat satellite starting from this month.
IAA President affirmed that the agreement will help increase the number of viewers of the Bahrain TV, hailing in this regard the reputation enjoyed by Noor-Sat.
He also asserted that IAA will carry on implementing its plans and programmes aiming to provide distinguished media services for viewers of the Bahrain TV bouquet using the latest technological innovations.
The two sides also discussed means of bolstering cooperation between them.
Omar Shoter expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Fawaz for his outstanding efforts to upgrade the Bahraini media march, praising the landmark achievements of IAA attained in a short period.
He also indicated that broadcasting the Bahrain TV bouquet on Nile Sat and Noor Sat will double the number of its viewers.
