Dr Abdul-Hussain Bin Ali Mirza inaugurated Tatweer Petroleum New Warehouse in the Bahrain Field near Jabel Dukhan. The inauguration was attended by the CEO, Dr. Edward J. Hanley, DCEO, Adel Almoayyed and the executive management of Tatweer Petroleum.
The New Warehouse facility was completed in approximately 11 months for $1.2 million of capital investment, and it is the first warehouse to be built during this year. Another warehouse currently being built at the same existing storage compound and will be specialized for the chemicals and it will be completed before the end of 2012 with a cost of $1.5 million. Currently Tatweer Petroleum is holding materials worth of more than $80 million in its warehouses and yards in the Bahrain Field near Jabel El-Dukhan.
“This is one of many major projects Tatweer Petroleum is undertaking under its Master Development Plan for the development of Bahrain Field which will pave the way for further future expansions in the facilities and oil production from Bahrain field and bring prosperity to the kingdom in line with the Bahrain’s vision 2030 long-term economic and developmental plans,” Tatweer Petroleum in a statement said.
