Electricity and Water Authority CEO, Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ibrahim Bin Hamad Al Khalifa with the Head of the Arabian Gulf University, Dr. Khalid Bin Abdul Rahman Al Ouhali.
Shaikh Nawaf praised the role played by the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) in the dissemination of medical education in the Arabian Gulf countries and the Arab Countries as well. He also praised the University for its positive role in strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the people of the region, and praised the university programme which called for reducing consumption of electric power and water.
The CEO of the Arabian University hoped that the other educational institutions in the Kingdom would do the same, and reduce their consumption of electricity and water, and spare them for the next generations.
Dr. Al Ouhali praised the Electricity and Water Authority CEO and all its affiliates for supporting the Arabian Gulf University, particularly concerning the application of the rationalization programme for the consumption of electricity and water.
Dr. Al Ouhali said that the University is monitoring the establishment of King Abdullah Medical City, where the project would strengthen the relations which bond the two peoples of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also said that the project would serve all the GCC countries.
Shaikh Nawaf ensured that the Electricity and Water Authority was ready to provide all the requirements of King Abdullah Medical City including electricity and water.
