Around 15 randomly selected staff from Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) was given the opportunity to spend a full day out of the office with Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the bank’s Managing Director and CEO. They shared lunch together and talked openly about various topics relating to the Bank in a friendly and relaxing environment.
The aim of the day out with the CEO, which was an initiative introduced by KFH-B’s Human Resources Department, is to discuss various topics relating to the Bank, set targets and follow-up with implementation of the topics discussed and overall, to strengthen the communication between the CEO and the bank’s employees.
Topics that were discussed in previous sessions have already been implemented by the Bank’s employees and it has been recognised that the discussions held in the day out with the CEO initiative has added real value to the benefit of the bank.
During this session, topics included the future business plans for the retail banking, KFHB initiatives in corporate social responsibility, smart and easy arrangements to rectify the flooded branches after launching “Libshara”, career plans and career development of the employees, the social activities in the Bank and the enhancement of internal communication between the departments and the employees.
“The KFH-B family are our key asset and we encourage our staff to be confident leaders who will contribute towards taking KFH-Bahrain forward into a promising future,” Sattam Algosaibi, Executive Manager and Head of Corporate Finance and Human Resources at KFH-B, said.
“KFH-B is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment in which the Bank’s staff can not only fulfil a successful career path but also achieve their own personal aspirations. It has proved very successful for the staff to be able to spend a day with the CEO where they can share their thoughts and ideas and implement them in a work environment” he concluded.
