During a visit to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at his palace in Al Ta’ef province, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended his sincere and heart-felt condolences and sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the sad demise of the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, HRH Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud.
HM the King also extended condolences to Defence Minister Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Abdulelah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Mashhour bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, General Intelligence Chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the sons of the deceased and Al-Saud family.
HM the king paid tribute to the late Prince Nayef, saying that Bahrain recalls with deep appreciation and gratitude the honorable stances of Prince Nayef and his tremendous contributions to Saudi Arabia’s growth and prosperity.
HM the King affirmed that the late Prince Nayef dedicated his life to serving Islam, his country and his people as well as promoting the GCC progress, supporting Arab and Islamic issues and reinforcing the region’s security and stability.
HM affirmed Prince Nayef will be cherished forever as an outstanding model to emulate in dedication, care and wisdom.
HM the King said that with the death of Prince Nayef, the Arab and Islamic nations have lost a great man who dedicated himself to serving Arab and Islamic issues and consolidating unity. HM wished the people of Saudi Arabia success in continuing development under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his noble brotherly sentiments that reflect deep-rooted historic relations linking both countries and people.
