In order to check the supply movement to the markets and the availability of food and consumers goods required and to stand up on the latest development of the local markets, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro inspected Manama Central Market, Ramez Store in Manama, Lulu Hypermarket in Hidd in addition to Bahrain City Center and Seef Mall.
This visit came routinely and continuously to enhance oversight role of the Ministry on those vital facilities.
During his visit to Manama Central Market, the minister was briefed on sale and purchase movements and supply quantities of fruits and vegetables. In this regard, Abulahssan Abulakhair confirmed the availability and continuous the arrival of seasonal fruits and vegetables from Turkey and Saudi Arabia and other countries. He also noted that the prices are stable due to increase demand on supply.
The Minister was reassured by the meat market officials, for the availability of required quantity of meat.
Ibrahim Salman confirmed the continuous arrival of shipments and the inventory is sufficient, affirming that other amount will be arriving in the coming weeks to provide sufficient stock of cattle for the Holy month of Ramadan.
During his tour in Ramez Store, the Minister was briefed on promotional offers and large campaigns carries out which includes a lot of consumer goods and food. Official confirmed that all Ramez branches will witness and expanded campaigns for Ramadan, pointing out the growing demand and things are stable in all branches.
During his visit to Lulu Hypermarket in Hidd Joser confirmed that the markets continue to offer promotions on many commodities, which include many of consumer’s goods and they are accessible to everyone.
From Manama Central Market, the Minister head to Bahrain City Center where he was received by Duaij Alromaihi, who accompanied him to Carrefour Hypermarket.
Abdulla Albader confirmed the continuous of promotions which includes a lot of goods, pointing the increase of shoppers on weekends and evening times. Al Rumaihi affirmed the growing movement in the Mall especially during weekend where the increase on the facilities such as shops cinema, restaurant and other.
During a tour to Seef Mall, Marketing official Robert Adisson assured the growing number of visitors in addition to the sales and discounts which encouraged attracting more shoppers.
